Making your reproductive years count.

So far my greatest challenge as a midwife is that I see people just go through their years like they can get it back in the twinkle of an eye and later face the beat of the drums.

So my little tip to make this period of life better and healthier is by doing the follower as often as you can. Remember treat your body the way you want it to treat you.

  • Eat healthy
  • Exercise regularly
  • Practice proper menstrual hygiene
  • Plan pregnancies
  • Go for preconception care and antenatal care
  • Eat foods rich in collagen (bone broth and eggs)
  • Rest. Yes I said rest. Go on vacation get new air in your lungs
  • Take care of your mental health
  • Go for regular screens
  • Get all necessary vaccines
  • Get in touch with your midwife or doctor when you don’t feel well
  • Do some yoga girl 😉
